Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually wrong and politcally biased story regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake on my 10-year-old television." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in the year 2019. In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News. In March 2022, she announced that she had been "dumped" by the network. Logan was a news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television in Africa, mostly as a senior producer. After four years, she decided to branch out into freelance journalism and was assigned as an editor/producer, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was the first to report on the events of the Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.

 Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers," that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation the cable channel. It focuses on their lives as art brokers, who work with collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were recorded by the couple, and will air for the entire month of October beginning on October 4th, starting at 7 pm Central. Ovation is home to more than 50MM subscribers, promotes artists through the Ovation digital arts network. They're hopeful of receiving the green light to film more. The people and friends I made at Baylor certainly affected my life. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. My classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also traveled with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. It was great fun to take art classes with her. One summer, I worked as a mechanic's assistant changing brake pads and oil.
