Breeana Danielle Essrig

 Breeana Danielle Essrig was born April 21 1991. She is an American actor, writer and host. Essrig joined SourceFed as host in 2015 and in 2017, was brought to the stage for the daily Twitter show #whatshappening. Essrig first made public appearances in 2013 as bisexual at The Rubin Report. She has been a strong campaigner against bullying, body shaming and sexual assault since the time. Essrig was co-host of The Young Turks news and pop culture channel PopTrigger from 2012-2015 and a writer/host on SourceFed from 2015-2017. She has also appeared as guest host on various websites. Elizabeth Banks comedy website WhoHaha featured Essrig. Essrig was nominated in 2017 for the Shorty Award as Best Comedian. She has been a guest at festivals and conventions as a guest of a famous influencer, host and commentator. She appeared on BlackBoxTV Presents as well as Shane Dawson's 2012 music video for Superluv.

She was an CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually wrong and politcally biased story regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake on my 10-year-old television."  Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers," that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation the cable channel. It focuses on their lives as art brokers, who work with collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were recorded by the couple, and will air for the entire month of October beginning on October 4th, starting at 7 pm Central. Ovation is home to more than 50MM subscribers, promotes artists through the Ovation digital arts network. They're hopeful of receiving the green light to film more. The people and friends I made at Baylor certainly affected my life. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. My classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also traveled with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. It was great fun to take art classes with her. One summer, I worked as a mechanic's assistant changing brake pads and oil.
