Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki The eldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a former real estate developer whose grandfather had moved to Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. In the year 1976, her parents got married. Psaki is also Polish-American. In 1996 she graduated from Greenwich High School. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000 with the degree of English as well as sociology. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was who was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer, was a member of the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki started her professional career in 2001, working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative and as regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki would be a political analyst during the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential campaign. She will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023. She was an CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually wrong and politcally biased story regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake on my 10-year-old television."  Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers," that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation the cable channel. It focuses on their lives as art brokers, who work with collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were recorded by the couple, and will air for the entire month of October beginning on October 4th, starting at 7 pm Central. Ovation is home to more than 50MM subscribers, promotes artists through the Ovation digital arts network. They're hopeful of receiving the green light to film more. The people and friends I made at Baylor certainly affected my life. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. My classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also traveled with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. It was great fun to take art classes with her. One summer, I worked as a mechanic's assistant changing brake pads and oil.
